It is built for students, freshers and early-career engineers who want a resume that passes applicant tracking systems and reads well in the six to ten seconds a recruiter gives it.

  • Three single-column templates: Classic, Jake's style and Minimal
  • Eleven fonts including Inter, Aptos, Helvetica, Arial, Source Sans 3, Calibri, Georgia and Computer Modern
  • Live A4 preview with adjustable name, heading, body and date sizes and line spacing

Frequently asked questions

Is this resume builder really free?

Yes. It is completely free with no signup, no watermark, no trial and no export limit. Download as many resumes as you need.

Is the exported resume PDF ATS-friendly?

Yes. The PDF is generated as real, selectable text rather than an image, so applicant tracking systems can parse every line. All templates use a single column, which is what ATS parsers read most reliably.

Where is my resume data stored?

Only in your own browser, using localStorage. There is no account and no server, so nothing you type is uploaded or shared.

How do I edit my resume later?

Your work autosaves in the browser. Each download is a ZIP with the PDF and a JSON backup, and you can re-import that JSON with Upload JSON to restore everything on any device.

What is the best resume format for freshers and students?

A one-page, single-column resume with a short summary, projects, skills and education. Put projects above education if you have little work experience, and use numbers to show impact. The sample resume in the builder follows this structure.

What font and size should a resume use?

Use a clean sans-serif such as Inter, Aptos, Helvetica, Arial or Source Sans 3. Set your name at 20-24pt, section headings at 11-12pt semibold, body text at 10-10.5pt, dates and locations at 9-9.5pt, with line spacing around 1.05-1.15.

How long should a resume be?

One page for students, freshers and anyone with under roughly eight years of experience. The builder warns you when content spills past a single A4 page and shrinks the type to fit on export.

Does it use AI to write my resume?

No. You write the content yourself, which is what recruiters want to see. The resume writing guide on this site explains how to turn duties into measurable bullets.
